Managing posterior segment trauma is always challenging and the prognosis may be unpredictable. Even with improvement in surgical techniques and instrumentation overall outcome of posterior segment trauma is not encouraging in many situations. This video assisted, unique case supported, highly informative instruction course will give practical tips to decode the secret of posterior segment trauma & make the participants more condent managing this impossible looking situation. The course divided in six sections covers clinical assessment, application of investigations, blunt and penetrating trauma management along with special attention to retinal detachment, endophthalmitis, and intraocular foreign body. Each topic is discussed though clinical situations and proper scientic management documentations to make it simple and convincing to the target delegates. At the conclusion of this course, the attendee will be able to manage more condently this difficult job.
