It is not very uncommon for cataract to coexist with glaucoma and management of these two coincident conditions is a common clinical challenge. Significant changes in understanding of management of glaucoma and also improvement in surgical techniques in managing coincident cataract and glaucoma have inuenced the outcome. The course will focus on decision making in managing these two conditions when they coexist. The potential advantages and disadvantages of combined procedure and when to consider combine surgery will be discussed. During the course special considerations such as small pupil and shallow AC will be addressed. Surgical techniques of single site and 2 site cataract extraction and trabeculectomy will be demonstrated and discussed along with their advantages and disadvantages. Special stress will be laid on managing intra operative and post operative complications. This will be a video assisted interactive course.
