There are certain dilemmas in day to day
practice of VR surgery which the novice surgeon wants to know but hesitates to ask his colleagues / mentors. This IC aims to be the Survival Guide for Green Horn VR Surgeons to avoid disasters intra operatively. It covers tips and pearls on how to avoid sub retinal PFCL/air/silicone oil and many more aspects. The foreign faculty in our IC compares different approaches to scleral buckle done in India and western world, with or without use of microscopes covering their advantages & disadvantages. IC also aims to educate on demystifying the membranes, how to close large/recurrent macular holes, tips tricks and traps in Endophthalmitis and other
retinal surgeries.
