This is a comprehensive course on Retinopathy of prematurity covering the basics as well as current of standards of practice. Hence it is useful for the trainees as well as those involved in care of ROP patients. The course will cover topics including indications, rationale, and guidelines for effective screening for ROP; diagnosis
of various stages of ROP; management strategies including use of laser photocoagulation, cryopexy and anti VEGF agents; and to some extent surgical management of advanced stages of ROP. The topics will be covered in the format of brief didactic presentations followed by predominantly panel discussion with time
given for audience participation throughout the session. Challenging cases will be discussed.
