Gonioscopy is the biomicroscopic examination of anterior chamber angle of the eye and it gives clear insight into pathogenesis of glaucoma. Despite the avaibility of imaging techniques of angle evaluation, gonioscopy still has a definitive place in glaucoma practice .This video shows the techniques of performing gonioscopy and the do’s and don’ts while performing gonioscopy. Also shown would be the special gonioscopy techniques and angle evaluation in commonly encountered clinical conditions such as Primary Angle Closure Disease,pigmentary glaucoma, pseudoexfoliation glaucoma, neovascular glaucoma, silicone oil induced glaucoma, angle recession glaucoma etc.
