Tomography uses principle of rotating scheimpflug photography for creating 3 dimensional corneal images. It is an important tool in the armamentarium of present era of refractive cataract surgery. This video demonstrates the influential role of tomography in various scenarios such as in eliminating keratometry estimation error in post LASIK, post RK IOL power calculation, preoperative evaluation of Irregular astigmatism , Q value for estimating spherical aberrations in selection of premium IOL: Toric/Aspheric/ Multifocal IOL and in planning Limbal relaxing incisions. It is also useful in angle assessment perioperatively and vault assessment postoperatively in Phakic IOL’s.
