Blindness is a sad yet frequently avoidable debility in the developing countries. Activities of individual, family, community and eye care experts are critical to eliminate 100 million cases of blindness by the year 2020. Social marketing for eye health care involves effective eye health promotion uniformly across the community which involves: health education, improvement in health service and advocacy for improved political support for blindness prevention. This video attempts to trace the efforts taken for effective social marketing across the community.
