Aim:To evaluate the newer technique for Trichiasis surgery.
Method: Trichiasis with entropion is very much common in old age. This disease usually leads to constant exposure keratitis and ultimately losing eye in chronic stage. We have designed and used newer technique for correction of trichiasis called cilliary bed transfer procedure. We have removed whole bed of misdirected cilia and transferred it distal to lid margin. We have followed up patients for 2 months who achieved good post operative outcome.
Conclusion: We have found that this technique gives very good result with complete resolution of complaints and also cosmetically acceptable.
