Aim :To present a case of retained intraorbital foreign body
method: A 18 year old male presented With lid tear With scleral tear after projectile injury on ocular examination right eye vision was HM, NO IOFB detected on B scan and CT showed. 10*4 mm situated retroorbital near lateral orbital wall, patient was taken for scleral tear repair and was followed closely,to the surprise patient vision got 6/18 foreign body exit was replaced With scleopteria like leison and retina was on.
Conclusion : best management for retroorbital foreign body is primary repair to maintain the globe integrity and closed follow up for retroorbital fb is needed as early surgical intervention may result in more serious complication
