While it is quite enough to be a good eye surgeon and give good results, to excel, one has to learn good communication skills, strive constantly to give the best surgical results, as well as the best overall experience to the patients. The 4 C’s are based on what patients want in their ophthalmologists ate: competency, communication skills, compassion, and convenience. Good surgical training is the bedrock that no one can do without in today’s age.
