Purpose: To report a rare association of bilateral Keratoconus with unilateral Fuchs Heterochromic Iridocyclitis in a 23 year old male patient.
Methods: A 23 year old male patient presented to us with complaints of frequent change in glass power. Bilateral Keratoconus was diagnosed based on corneal evaluation and tomography. Examination also revealed features of Fuchs Heterchromic Iridocyclitis in the left eye. Keratoconus progressed in the left eye over next 3 months and collagen cross linking (CXL) was advised. Only one similar case has been reported in literature till date.
Results: Keratoconus progression halted after CXL and patient maintained BCVA till last visit. There were no sequelae of Fuchs Heterochromic Iridocyclitis.
Conclusion: Keratoconus and Fuchs Heterochromic Iridocyclitis is a rare association with probable common embryogenic origin.
