On examination, vision was 6/6 in BE. The temporal conjunctiva LE was congested with a nodular lesion 3.4mm x 2mm,staining with fluorescein dye . It was surrounded by dilated and tortuous conjunctival and episcleral vessels. The cornea revealed superficial punctate erosions inferiorly. Rest of the anterior segment was normal and no preauricular lymphadenopathy. Conjunctival scraping was done and sent for culture and sensitivity and systemic associations were ruled out. He was started on Ofloxacin 0.3% eyedrops and ointment, tear film substitutes and anti-inflammatory drops. Culture revealed no growth. Treatment was continued for two more weeks, ulcer size progressively decreased and healed. Patient was symptomatically relieved.
