The ability to evaluate visual function is essential for detection, management and treatment of Glaucoma. Of all visual function tests visual field testing by automated perimmetry remains the Gold standard. There are two aspects to visual field testing. Instrumentation for accessing the fields (hardware) and the interpretation of what is found (software). Modern computerized perimeters incorporate both. Presentations will impart a clear concept to the attending ophthalmologists with focus on basics of perimetry and interpretation of subtle field changes in glaucoma, vascular and neurological diseases. Hand outs of different case scenario with fields and it’s interpretation will be made available to attending delegates.
