Ocular pathologies like entropion, ectropion, canalicular injuries, thyroid eye disease, childhood ptosis and congenital dacryocystitis are commonly encountered by every ophthalmologist. Though apparently trivial, if neglected or improperly managed, these conditions can culminate in loss of vision. Many such cases can be effectively dealt by general ophthalmologist by performing simple procedures. In others, a correct first line management can greatly inffuence a positive outcome till specialist care is sought. This video assisted instruction course shall impart the basic surgical tips of some must learn surgeries and guide the attendee about management protocols of childhood ptosis and thyroid eye disease.
