The ease of access to information over the internet about disease conditions and their management options has created a need among ophthalmologists to be aware of aesthetic and minimally invasive approaches to common oculoplastic procedures. Gone are the days when a good functional outcome was sucient enough to keep our patients’ happy. Today, what matters is whether the same favourable outcome can be achieved with a smaller, fainter, hidden or even no scar. This instruction course is aimed to arm the ophthalmologists and oculoplastic surgeons of today with the knowledge and skill to do an aesthetic/minimally invasive approach to common oculoplastic procedures. A select panel of experienced surgeons shall present an alternative aesthetic approach to ptosis, entropion, dacryocystorhinostomy and orbital surgery in a scientic videobased interactive format. Overall this course is crafted to empower the ophthalmologist of today to deliver excellent eye care to their patients.
