An 8 year old boy with 60mm IOP, adherent leucoma, iridodialysis and brown pupil came with just perception of light. The child had been hit with a nib of a pen for which he was operated 8 months ago. After controlling the IOP with topical, oral and intravenous antiglaucoma medication, an iris cyst was unveiled. Subsequently, the cyst was managed with a novel approach of minimally invasive cyst aspiration and chemical ablation of cyst epithelium. Along with progressive retraction of cyst, vision and IOP were restored.
