Aim: To show management of three different types of cases with complicated cataract. Material and
Methods: Case 1 : will show traumatic cataract with iridodialysis which was managed by phaco aspiration and foldable IOL implantation with iridodialysis repair.Case 2: will show subluxated traumatic cataract managed by lens aspiration and vitrectomy with primary foldable glued IOL implantation. Case 3 : will show total intumescent traumatic cataract with posterior synechiae and small pupil in which synechiolysis was done followed by CCC of stained capsule with lens aspiration and foldable IOL implantation. Results: All the three patients had good postoperative visual gain without any postoperative complications.
Conclusion: Complicated traumatic cataract in children can be managed successfully with appropriate surgical approach with good final visual outcome.
