Simple Limbal Epithelial Transplantation or SLET is a revolutionary technique of
limbal stem cell therapy that has taken the world of ocular surface by storm. With its ever increasing popularity, more and more corneal and general ophthalmic surgeons are now either performing or thinking about adopting SLET to help their patients with ocular surface disease. It is therefore quite important to transfer the necessary skills to budding SLET surgeons, as the procedure is still quite new and has not yet made its way into the surgical manuals. This course, by experienced SLET surgeons, will provide a video-based step by step approach to learning every surgical pearl and caveat regarding the procedure. The course material will include a compilation of surgical videos and hand-outs on the post-operative care and management of
possible complications. Those attending this course will gain sufficient knowledge and skills to select appropriate cases and perform SLET effortlessly on their own.
