Dr.Shruti Mahajan, Dr.Rohit Om Parkash, Dr.TRUPTI MUDHOLKAR

This video shows that corticocapsular cleaving hydodissection is considered an integral part of phacoemulsification but has its own sets of complications. It is better avoided in intumescent cataracts and can be incomplete in certain cases. The surgical footage and animations based video will show how various grades of cataract can be managed with no hydrodissection without compromising zonules and capsular bag thereby decreasing its relevance.
