A 58 year old male came with painful gradual loss of vision in the right eye for 5 months.BCVA OD hand movements OS 6/9. Anterior segment examination of the RE cornea was clear, Anterior chamber of moderate depth with NVI with irregular pupil with a PCIOL. On fundus examination, there was no view. OD B scan revealed serous choroidal detachment in the supero temporal quadrant with diffuse choroidal thickening.Retina & ONH appeared normal. UBM revealed thickening of the ciliary body from 10 to 1 o clock position. MRI orbits with contrast reveal a hyperintense lesion in T1&hypointense in T2 weighted study in the superior and lateral aspects of sclerocorneal junction suggestive of ciliary melanoma. Patient was referred to Oncology where he was diagnosed with metastasis to to the lungs and liver. Patient underwent enucleation, HPE of the specimen revealed epitheloid cell type of melanoma.We are presenting this case for its rarity and the importance of early management.
