IC215 – RETINAL IMAGING – ADVANCING FRONTIERS

Dr. Vishali Gupta [G09387] – Chandigarh

Recent times have seen rapid advances in the field of retinal diagnostics. Newer modalities enhance our clinical findings with anatomical, physiological and functional information to enable better understanding and management of diseases. This course aims to discuss newer diagnostic modalities available in the clinic, and to explore the potential of these innovations on day to day vitreo-retinal practice. Enhancements of angiography and OCT are discussed followed by autouorescence and microperimetry. Each presentation will contain illustrative cases where these modalities led to improved understanding of the disease process, its management and the outcomes. This will be followed by a period of audience interaction where participants can clear their doubts and discus challenging situations with the panel.
