FP589 : Role of Amniotic Membrane Transplantationvs Anterior Stromal Puncture in Painful Bullous Keratopathy

The present study was conducted on 40 patients of painful PBK divided in to 2 groups of 20 each. Group A patients underwent debridement of corneal epithelium followed by fresh amniotic membrane transplantation(AMT) while group B patients underwent anterior stromal puncture(ASP) using tip of a 26-guage needle followed by bandage contact lens.
